Exuberant Projection, Vibrant Response

The Perpetual violin strings react in an ideal way to the finest nuances in bow speed and pressure; this enables the musician to play with an extreme range of dynamics and expression. The innovative core material allows a comfortable smoothness during legato, shifting, string crossings, double stops and chords. The extended reverberation of the Perpetual brings forth an exuberant lustre.

Unraveling strings

I have bought 7 sets or perpetual strings. 2 sets had unraveling A strings.

Absolutely exquisite

After having experience using evah regular, evah gold, vision solos, helicore, obligato, dominants, and more, I was absolutely blown away by these strings. I was a little hesitant to try them at first, but I'm glad I did. The sound they produce is powerful
and clear, and they truly do live up to the "exuberant lustre" as described. I love the projection they give! I will be buying my 4th set of them soon! They don't seem to last as long as evah gold, but that might be due to my practicing habits. I will say
that I personally prefer to sub the perpetual G string for an evah gold-gold wound G, but I just really like the warmth of the gold wound G!

Maybe not a match for a bright violin

Keep in mind string performance is very specific to the violin. My fiddle is powerful and bright and these strings were just too abrasive. They just weren't nice under the ear or playing chamber music. And it was hard to get a consistent sound at low bow
pressure -- it was like they wanted to be played loud all the time. I bet these would be great on an old Italian fiddle that has a dark mellow sound -- they would give it a backbone for soloists who need people in concert halls to hear them clearly. The strings
have a quality like a singer with a burr in their sound -- it definitely helps them be heard at distance, it can help clarity, but at close range it's not so beautiful. For my fiddle, Vision Solos are a great mix between high tension, high projection, high
playability but with a nice rounded sound -- and they can play pianissimo beautifully. I also sometimes use a set of Warchal Amber -- a little less forward than Vision Solos, a little less powerful but the sound is sweet and velvety -- gut-like in some ways
but still a synthetc string.
