• In-stock items will ship the next business day (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) if placed by 2pm EST.

• Backordered item(s) will ship as soon as they become available.

Standard Shipping

All orders over $45 dollars shipped to the contiguous 48 states will ship free of charge, using the best and fastest option available. (Oversized items are excluded, see below). Standard shipping typically takes between 2-10 business days to arrive, depending on location.

Expedited Shipping

Next Day Shipping (1 business day) and 2 Day Shipping (2 business days) are also available to customers who place their order before 12pm EST. Shipping rate will be calculated in your cart before checkout.

Oversized items

An additional handling fee may apply for oversized items (ie: a cello, cello case, full-size upright bass). Any item that will get an additional handling fee will be marked as an “Oversized Item”.

Can you ship to non-contiguous states and US territories?

Yes! You will be charged the actual shipping cost to your location, as determined at checkout. We are able to ship to the following: Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), Puerto Rico (PR), Guam (GU), US Virgin Islands (VI), American Samoa (AS), Federated States of Micronesia (FM), Marshall Islands (MH), Northern Mariana Islands (MP), Palau (PW), U.S. Minor Outlying Islands (UM), or Army/Air Post Offices (APO).

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes! Please note that all sale prices are in U.S. Dollars. The customer is responsible for all Canadian Duty and Taxes. Orders typically arrive within 10-14 Business days.

• For orders under $150, we charge a flat shipping rate of $25. For orders over $150, shipping costs will be calculated by weight in your shopping cart before checkout.

• Oversized items will be charged actual shipping costs, determined at checkout.

Can I order to a PO, FPO, APO or DOP boxes?

Any products without an “oversized” icon on our site can be shipped to these locations. Oversized items — cellos, basses, cello cases, etc. — cannot be shipped to PO, FPO, APO or DOP boxes.

What do I do when my items are damaged in transit by the shipping company?

It is our goal to deliver every order in perfect condition. We guarantee that all items shipping from our warehouse have been inspected for quality.

Accidents can happen in transit, which is beyond Shar Music's control. We will work with each individual customer on a case by case basis, and communicate with the shipping company in whatever fashion is appropriate to try to reclaim any loss for our customers.

• The damaged product(s)
• The outer packing box
• The shipping label.

I received items that I didn’t order. What do I do?

Can I place an order for a shipping address that's different from my billing address?

Yes, you can select the option to ship to an address other than your billing address during checkout.

My order says “order shipped or order completed”, but I didn't receive my package. What do I do?

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of the expected delivery date, please contact our Customer Care department via email at or by phone at 800.248.7427. Our team will be happy to assist you in finding a solution.

If you set your order to require signature confirmation but missed your delivery window, this will be viewed as refusal for delivery. In this case, the customer will be responsible for any extra shipping charges.
