Musicians Practice Planner

The Musician’s Practice Planner has helped me give clear instructions and goals for my students to work on. My students can see and find practice instructions efficiently. I have had dramatic improvements in my students’ understanding of what and how to practice for the week since switching to using the planner.

This planner works well for my daughter to keep violin practice time organized. Her teacher loves the easy format to keep practice time and practice details for each lesson. The book is very sturdy and the spiral binding lets it lay flat on a music stand.

We have been using this planner for 2 years for my 12 y.o. It's a great way for the teacher to capture her instructions about a variety of tasks that need to be accomplished before the next lesson (music pieces, method and theory books, listening exercises, etc.) And there's a blank music bar at the bottom of each week - also helpful. As a busy parent, I love that what the teacher wants is easily and communicated through this format. My child finds it easy to use as well - and both student and teacher are happier, and progress is more visible because of this planner. Highly recommended!!

I bought a single copy of the Musician's Practice Planner this summer, hoping to regain some of the practice hours I lost once I started teaching. I've been so encouraged to be able to see on paper how I've progressed, just by flipping through the filled pages. It is easy to use and neatly keeps track of what I need to work on next.
I plan on passing this on to all my students this fall.
