Patterned after the Viotti; ex-Bruce Stradivarius of 1709, this latest masterpiece from Andreas Haensel is a powerfully rich instrument. Offering the depth and response a soloist yearns for; Haensel has outdone himself with a violin that Viotti himself would be pleased to perform with.

Back Length: 356mm
Upper Bout: 169mm
Center Bout: 115mm
Lower Bout: 211mm

The back plate is of one piece of maple cut on the quarter of narrow width flaming extending from left to right. The top plate is of two pieces of spruce cut on the quarter of narrow width grain, widening slightly at the flanks. The ribs and scroll are of similar maple. The varnish is of red-brown over a golden ground.
