Accompanied by an original bill of sale and certificate of authenticity from W.E. Hill & Sons, dated 1919, this violin is in an exceptional state of preservation. Wittner pegs installed by previous owner makes tuning effortless.

Back Length: 355mm
Upper Bout: 168mm
Center Bout: 110mm
Lower Bout: 206mm

The back is of two pieces of maple, cut on the quarter of fine flaming descending slightly from the center joint. The ribs are of more plain maple. The scroll is of plain maple, grafted, and unoriginal to the instrument. The top is of two pieces of spruce, cut on the quarter of medium-fine width grain.
