Zimmerman, Oscar - Orchestral Works of Brahms For Double Bass

As a bassist, I have been exceptionally-well enjoying Mr. Zimmerman's selections of Brahms' works curated for the orchestral double bassist. The notation is readily readable, and all clefs are relevant. The violist in me is less satisfied, but then, I do not play the viola, so this is not as much of a hindrance as would possibly be expected. I should, perhaps, wish to be a violist, for they occupy a more obscure presence in the orchestra than even the (double) bass section does, but as I have over-large hands, I am, alas, limited, or perhaps maximized to the confines of the realm of contrabass. Be that as it may, I am most surely satisfied, as I always am, with my purchase from Shar Music. Bravo!
