The Musician's Practice Log by Burton Kaplan

I love this planner. It's ideal for older students, college students and adult/professional musician. If you're trying to organize your own practice time and need a little help in getting motivated, this is the best. It's not really something for kids because it requires a lot of self-analysis and personal problem solving (unless you have a really advanced child).

I am an adult student and wanted a music planner. There was not a lot of information regarding this product so I wasn't sure what I would get in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised. This planner is for high school students as well as adult students. There is room to track weekly assignments as well as monthly reflections on practice progression. The only draw back, there is only enough room for 16 weeks ( I believe) so every four months you will have to buy another book. I think it is worth it. It is well written and organized. You also get a weekly planner that can be reused with dry eraser. At the end of the book, the author provides tip on how to approach new pieces which I found useful. If you want a planner that helps analyse your practice habits then this is the book for you!
