Pirastro Cellisto Rosin for Cello

this rosin was one of my favorite because it makes such a clear sound and is an easy pull. you use hardly any pressure yet it pulls a full tone note. the only possible flaw I could think of is if you like to feel the grit when you play I would avoid this rosin. I think the pastor is very reliable and I think it is the best rosin quality-wise I have ever used.

I like to try different rosins and I tried this one because Mr. Shar wrote that it is one of his favorites. It is my favorite so far, very long lasting on the bow. I hardly ever have to reapply it. It performs well throughout the seasons, even in high humidity.
