Violinist Nanae Iwata has established herself in versatile roles as soloist, chamber musician and teacher. A recipient of three degrees from the Juilliard School,she has been a frequent performer all over the world, making appearances in the United States, Japan, Germany, Austria, New Zealand and Cuba. As a Baroque violinist, she has collaborated with renowned artists such as William Christie, Richard Egarr, Monica Huggett, Jordi Savall, Ton Koopman, and Masaaki Suzuki. She is a member of New York Baroque Incorporated, Concert Royale, and the Knights. She is also the owner and artistic director of the New Amsterdam Conservatory in New York City.

 

Cellist Patrick Jee received international acclaim as the Grand Prize winner of the Carlos Prieto International Cello Competition. He has performed in major venues such as New York’s Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., London’s Wigmore Hall and Paris’ Salle Gaveau. His edition of Glazunov’s Meditation (IMC No. 3603) won first prize from the Music Publishers Association’s Paul Revere Awards. He currently is a member of the New York Philharmonic after previously serving as Assistant Principal Cello of the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

 

This edition contains the solo violin part, the violin II part, the cello part and the score. This edition with all parts was edited by Nanaue Iwata and Patrick Jee.
