Trial Period: The Trial Period is 10 days from receipt.

Place of Trial: The ship-to address on the customer trial order.

Return of Property: Customer and Shar Music agree that Shar Music will loan the Products above to Customer for possible purchase by the Customer during the Trial Period. After the Trial Period, Customer can either purchase the Products or Return the Products in the same condition the Products were received. The Customer acknowledges that the Products remain the sole property of Shar Music until they are paid for in full by the Customer. All returns must be made within ten days of the end of the Trial Period. For any late returns, Customer will be charged a late fee per day unless Shar Music approves an extension of the Trial Period.

Deposit: The Customer must pay a deposit fee if noted next to the Product. This deposit is a security deposit and it will be refunded to Customer when the Products are returned without damage. 
Repairs: All repairs and/or adjustments must be done only by Shar Music unless the Customer purchases the Products or after receiving approval from Shar Music while on trial. Customer will have sole responsibility to pay for the cost of repair if there is damage resulting from Customer’s negligence or Customer’s failure to properly care for the Products.

Risk of Loss: The Customer will be responsible for the Products from the date of receipt until it is returned to Shar Music. The Customer will bear the risk of loss and damage to the products while in possession during the Trial Period. On return, if the Products are damaged, Shar Music will charge Customer for such damage and issue a damage invoice to Customer. If the Products are not returned, Customer will be responsible for the retail value of the Products.

Credit Card Authorization: By entering into this agreement, Customer herby authorizes Shar Music to charge any active credit card on file for any past due payments. Credit card chargeback fee is $40.00. Customer authorizes Shar Music to add on a credit card processing fee at our option. It is Customer's responsibility to notify Shar of any credit card or billing information change to avoid the chargeback fee. 

Email Opt-In: By supplying us with Customer’s email address, Customer has agreed to receive promotional messages via email. Shar Music does not sell or share this information. 

Governing Law: This At-Home Trial Agreement will be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute regarding terms or enforcement must be brought in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

Remedies: If Customer is in default of this agreement, the cost of the Products will immediately become due. If Shar Music institutes any legal proceeding against Customer to recover any of the Property, Shar Music shall have a right to recover from Customer actual attorney fees, collection fees, and court costs incurred by Shar Music in connection with the proceeding.

Offering a clear, sonorous tone while still maintaining a rich, robust tone, this viola offers the advancing musician the chance to have an instrument that meets their needs. This model is especially made for Shar Music.

Many of the luthiers at the Ming-Jiang Zhu workshop have been awarded for their workmanship. Altogether, the workshop has won 23 awards from top international competitions including the Violin Society of America, including 2 gold and 3 silver medals. The instruments of the workshop are crafted following Italian traditions and standards of craftsmanship.

“I recently had a fantastic experience working with Shar to find a new instrument. My typical day job is working in the various recording studios in Nashville, TN. I’ve had the privilege of recording viola on various movies, tv shows, and video games, as well as with artists like Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Colony House, Josh Groban, and Jennifer Hudson, to name a few. However, later this year I will be going on the road to play viola with country music singer Eric Church for his Free The Machine Tour! This new position was the push I needed to finally look into acquiring a second instrument. I decided on a price range and began looking, both locally and with various shops around the country. Shar graciously sent me a 16” Ming-Jiang Zhu Artist Viola and it was an immediate favorite. I spent a good amount of time testing it against many other instruments, some more than double the price, and it blew them all out of the water! It is incredibly rich and powerful while also being wonderfully responsive. It is also incredibly visually striking instrument with a deep red varnish and beautiful gold accented hardware, an added bonus for an instrument I will be using primarily for live stage shows! I am so excited to be taking this viola with me on the road and for the future we will have together!”
