Very nice, very pleased.

When I upgraded my violin about a year ago it came with Dominants on it. I was pretty excited because my teacher had them. I loved the G and D strings! They have a very full, mellow tone. However, I was disappointed with the A and E strings. I thought the A was somewhat nasally and the E was a bit weak with a slight shrillness. I began searching for a different brand. I came across the Corellis and read lots of reviews. They appeared to be just what I was looking for. I ordered a set. I am very pleased with them! The G and D are very good, unfortunately not as nice as Dominants. The A and E are quite satisfactory. The A matches the D well, and the E is vibrant without any tininess or harshness.

Allows outstanding control of pitch and tone

These strings have an incredible purity and roundness of tone that is evident from the first moments that I put it on my violin and lasts through nearly three months of heavy playing. While their natural sound is very clear, these strings are sensitive and responsive enough to produce a very wide range of tonal qualities, and I recommend trying these strings if you are frustrated with the one-sided character of other synthetics. I am especially fond of the stability and ease of control, and these strings allow me to "feel" the very direct connection between what I do with my hands and the resulting sound that comes out.
This set works very well in all dynamic ranges, although it cannot reach the same loudness as higher-tension strings like Evah Pirazzis. The versatility of these strings is useful for those who need to play in multiple arenas--solo, quartet, orchestra, etc.--and need to depend on their strings staying in tune and not breaking. However, a musician who specializes in only a single field may need a more specialized string.
I have tried several rosins with the strings, and Jade rosin seems to be my best match.

Doesn`t Fit in My Fine Tuners

I left a review on these Corelli strings earlier. I am still very pleased with these strings, but I have recently purchased and installed fine tuners on all of my strings and only the E string fits through the fine tuners. (I purchased the Black 2 Prong
Violin String Adjusters from Shar.) My sister installed the same brand of fine tuners on her violin and her Dominants fit in them without a problem. I have no complaint with the quality of these strings, just thought I would let others know.

Comfortable

It is a comfortable string on fingers As well as my heart... Dominant is a good string...also an attractive string. However, vivace has a more beautiful sound.
