Book 3B, Stretching the Major Scale, 'stretches' the Major scale by combining the close 1-2 and close 2-3 finger patterns. The "Violinland Olympics" reviews basic posture. 6/8 time is introduced through body movement. There is more singing and playing in harmony, conducting, note-reading and note-writing. There are also several violin stunt songs for fun learning.

Her countless honors include the Presidential Scholar Teacher Recognition Award by U.S. Secretary of Education, Margaret Spellings, in ceremonies at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
