My new Stuber boxwood Violin Chinrest arrived in great shape. I put it on my violin and love it. The deeper cup and small lip help me to hold the violin in place while I'm playing without slipping out when I perspire a little.

I have tried multiple shoulder rests and two chin rests to prevent my violin from slipping off my shoulder, and had just about given up. I am so glad I took a chance on the Stuber chinrest. When it arrived, I nearly sent it straight back because it looked
so much like one of mine. But, thankfully, I tried it first. What a difference it made! Finally, my violin feels like it fits me.

I'm a professional violinist who has played for nearly 40 years. I've tried almost all chin rests out there and this has worked the best. A MUST TRY if you have a somewhat tall neck!

An excellent chin rest that helps stability and posture of my instrument. It greatly helps my playing proficiency as it keeps my left hand from having to support the instrument as much.
