French Rosin in Octagonal Wood Case marked Sartory

This rosin works wonderfully. Little to no residue. I love the case it’s housed in as it has magnetic closures so it opens closes easily and looks great as well.

Inside , well the rosin is skidding with the bow. Maybe a re-hair is needed as well.

I bought and tried the Sartory rosin in the Octagonal Wood box. This rosin works well on my bow. I use to use Hill dark rosin on my bow. This rosin gives the proper amount of grip on my bow hair and leaves less rosin dust on my strings. The wood box keeps rosin dust on the inside of my case. Classy and functional. Highly recommend.

This is a great quality rosin and way better than the Cecilia Rosin formerly known as Andrea rosin for the price. It's so concentrated you don't need to put a lot of rosin. It is the perfect combination of dark and light rosin so it is balanced if you live in climates where you have to swap between dark and light rosin. It has way more projection than Cecilia and you really don't need that much rosin just a few swipes lasts for a while
