The miracle of modern materials, coupled with the cutting edge manufacturing techniques of D'Addario, have produced a violin string for today's player. Sophisticated synthetic core G, D and A strings have been carefully blended to produce an elegant string that will enable ambitious players to advance to their next level, offering a broad tonal spectrum, reliable pitch stability, and long life. Aluminum wound A string. G and D strings are Monel wound, a costly alloy of nickel and copper, that provides a rich tone, yet resists corrosion. Brilliant solid carbon steel E string, with tinned coating, provides power and excellent hand-feel.
