Motrya Gold Rosin for Violin, Viola, or Cello

Having used Hill dark for 50 years, I thought that it would not hurt to try something different. Motrya Gold has definitely improved my bowing to the point that it is now my favorite of all. Hunter Berry, of international bluegrass fame recommended it when we spoke about rosin at our local bluegrass festival. It works for all three styles that I play — Irish, Scottish, and bluegrass.
Let me add that I use an Ovation bow ( which has replaced my pernambuco bow!) and Helicore strings.

I live in southern California it's pretty much dry all year round unless we get rare rain. This rosin is good and sticks well not much dust at all compared to the former rosin I was using. Highly recommend this.

That one-star review says good things...and I agree. For warmer climates, it has a big, clear sound without too much dust. Lasts a long time too. My favorite rosin after trying almost everything on the market.

I'm in California and the summers are usually dry and hot ...this rosin is great for drier climates while still giving enough grip comparable to dark rosin without gumming up the strings

I like this rosin because I like the color gold and its easy to open
