Kolstein Cello Rosin

This rosin is so hard that I can't get it onto my brand new bow. I took a fine file from the workbench and tried to rough it up gently, figuring that would break the outer surface. With light pressure, it did not scuff at all. With firmer pressure, the rosin broke off in chips. Next, I will try fine sandpaper. If that doesn't work, I will switch to an alternative rosin.

This is very sticky rosin with a low melting point if you leave it in the sun it will soften to the point you can squeeze it back together if broken. It grips the string better than any rosin I've used. Will never switch.

This rosin changed my life!! it grips onto the string like no other. like anything new, it took a while to get used to it, but after about a week, I had adjusted and I love it and can't believe that I have been going so long without it. a product well worth its price.

This is a very sticky rosin, not dry and powdery. If you break it, with a little heating in the sun you can reform it together. My favorite.
