Chinrest Tightener

This is a comfortable chin rest with a lip that is not too shallow, making it easy to hook the jaw and stabilize the violin. However, it does require the head to be inclined to the side and this gave me neck pain after a few days. I need a more forward-facing position. For those who like to recline their neck to the side this is a fine choice.

Good quality tool. However, it doesn't fit in two of the holes on my chinrest. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my chinrest or the adjustor since it fits the other holes.

It isn't fancy or glamorous, but it does the job. I noticed that it does not fit in the hole in one side of one of my chinrests, but it fit in the hole on the other side. Odd. Worked fine on my new chinrest. Good price.

yeah pretty much a simple tool.works very well, very solid and sturdy. my only complaint is it needs some sort of case/pouch so you can carry it in a case. this picture is deceiving though, it is all silver metal, this pic looks like has wood sides.
