    nice pickup - even sound

i like this pickup better than my fishman that installs by being wedged into the bridge foot's opening. using the mighty mini, the sound is more even across the whole range of the instrument. the only inconvenience is that if the mini max is installed but not in use, what do you do with the cable? i'll figure it out - wind it up and stick it under the shoulder rest, or keep taking it off whenever it's not in use. also, i have to check every time to make sure the sound guy doesn't leave the adapter in the PA when unplugging me. as long as i remember to check, it's ok. why not make this pickup with a regular output jack since isn't that what most people need? but despite these 2 minor incoveniences, this pickup is worth it because it sounds better. evenly amplifies across the whole range of the instrument. ... great sound quality

This i have found to be a really nice pickup...i have a very excellent cello set up, (France, 1919) and was always concerned about putting something between the body of the cello and the bridge, oosening the strings, repositioning the bridge, etc etc...this is nice and compact, transportable, and the sound quality is excellent...i am very very happy with this product and recommend it highly to someone who would like to have amplification without any chance of damage to the instrument... ...
