The copy of the Bach original score pages are interesting but they also make the book very thick and hard to turn the pages on a music stand

This is in my opinion the best edition for these pieces, as it includes the original manuscript in the back so you can refer to Bach's original notes, especially bowings.

I have played violin for 16 years, and have worked on the Sonatas and Partitas for over 8 years. This edition is FAR superior to the Schirmer one. I have pretty bad eyesight (20/500), which has worsened over the years, so I really needed an edition that
was easier to read. Well, this is much better in that regard. Also, I really like the editing and fingerings, which are so helpful when playing such difficult music. I would highly recommend this edition if you are considering it. To me, it was worth every
penny.
