Our original Carlo Lamberti violin, developed by Charles Avsharian, Shar CEO, continues to be very popular among advancing players and their teachers. The reason is that it offers a warm, sweet tone with a variety of tonal colors at a price that is hundreds less than violins of equal capabilities. This vioiln is made entirely by hand in China to our exacting specifications. Quality craftsmanship, tasteful hand-varnish, striking wood flaming, premium fittings and strings all combine to make these exceptional violins... yet each has itsown unique voice and look.

There is an amazing variety of violins being made in China today, at every playing level and at every possible level of quality. Frankly, there are so many that locating a violin of high quality is a real art. Our Carlo Lamberti violins are made by hand in just four workshops, among the very finest in all of China. These are the workshops of dedicated masters who understand and apply the traditional European techniques of violin making. Our full, professional setup in our Ann Arbor shop optimizes what each violin has to offer. This item comes with Shar's 1 year warranty covering defects of workmanship or materials. General wear and tear or mis-use are not covered. Non-transferable.

Easy - One low fee for roundtrip shipping. Take the guesswork out of return shipping charges. Our shipments include a prepaid return label for easy returns. We charge $20 to select, process, and ship bow trials, $40 for violin or viola trials, and $80 for cellos. (Shipping charges may be higher to Alaska and Hawaii.)

Trade-In Policy

Shar is devoted to your musical development from your first beginning instrument to the eventual instrument of your dreams. We know how important your equipment is in producing the best sound possible. As you grow musically, you will undoubtedly need an instrument that can grow with you. We encourage you to take advantage of our Trade-In Program. Whether it is from a 1/4 size to a 1/2 size or from an advanced instrument to a professional instrument, we offer you a generous trade-in credit for your current instrument.

50% - credit of the original purchase for Hoffmann instruments and outfits.

100% - credit of the original purchase price for better quality instruments (Carlo Lamberti, Otto Ernst Fischer, Karl Joseph Schneider, John Cheng Workshop, Collector's Series, and those from our Fine Instrument Collection).

There will be NO refurbishment fee deducted for normal wear and tear. A depreciation fee will only be deducted if the instrument has had serious damage (cracks, etc.).
