Written as a companion to the popular book for violin, The American Fiddle Method, Volume 1 is now available for cello! Collaborators Brian Wicklund and Faith Farr have arranged the tunes in the violin book for cello - not simply transposing them - to keep them in playable ranges and keys for cello players. The method covers ensemble skills, basic music theory, variations and improvisation, backup and lead playing, and more. Can be used in conjunction with the violin and/or viola books, enabling players to "jam" together! Included in the set is an access code to Online Audio for listening and play-along.
