REVIEW VIDEOS
"Paganini's Three Airs Varies, originally published around 1830 as Trois Airs Varies pour le Violin, pour etre executes sur la Quatrieme Corde seul, avec accompangnement de Pianoforte were likely transcribed by Gustavo Carulli, who may be the author of the accompaniment. This work was originally published with scordatura tuning, with the fourth string tuned up a major second to an A. As many violinists are reluctant to tune up their instruments, as the added string tension may adversley affect their instruments, this edition has been prepared to be played with standard tuning (the fouth string on G). The piano accompaniment has been transposed to accommodate the violin." ~ Graham Bastable
