About This Brand

Dimitri Musafia: The Stradivari of Case Makers

Behind every Musafia case is the lifetime of experience and passion of Dimitri Musafia himself. Trained in Cremona as a master violin maker, Dimitri Musafia recognized the need for a hand-crafted violin case to protect the world's most valuable instruments. Musafia and his assistants have been crafting Musafia cases by hand in Cremona, Italy, since 1983. Starting with years of careful research and development, tireless experimentation with every conceivable shell material, hardware and protective features, no effort was spared in meeting the core mission of providing the utmost in safety for precious instruments . . . and peace of mind for their owners.

It is no surprise that Musafia cases have gained a loyal following among the world's greatest artists, collectors and heads of state. With each and every case receiving the personal attention of Dimitri Musafia himself, these are not mere manufactured products – they are lifelong investments that bring with them the assurance of Dimitri Musafia standing behind each Musafia case. With standardized replacement parts always available, as well as the expertise of the Musafia workshop standing by, owning a Musafia case is an experience from an era that has long since passed. That is why Musafia cases are the most sought after cases in the world.

"My name goes onto every case that leaves my shop. Each one is thus an extension of myself: For this reason I cannot allow that they be anything less than the best possible."
