Question By:
AUTUMN EMILY DEPPA
From DENVER, CO

Asked On: 01/24/2018

Will attaching the pad by velcro potentially damage the chinrest if later removed? Thanks

SHAR Answer:

The velcro sticks onto the chinrest. If you no longer want to use the Strad Pad and need to remove the velcro, peeling it off and using Goo-gone or similar products will totally remove the residue. If you are concerned about there being a mark left, you might want to try the elastic-attached version.

Asked On: 05/29/2017

Can this be used alone, or must it cover a rigid chinrest?

SHAR Answer:

The Strad Pad is designed to cover a chinrest and would need to be used with an instrument which has a chinrest. Thanks for your question!
