I've been using this for a while now. It immediately became my new favorite and I can recommend it without reservation. Over time my preferred rosin went from Andrea A Piacere to Andrea Soloist, then to Stravari Private Reserve II and now to this Yumba rosin. It has a great balance of characteristics. From my list it's most similar to A Piacere with a beautiful silky sound but with more depth and spine (like Andrea Solo) and a lot more resonance (Stravari's strong point). A beautiful and rich sound that soars and projects. There's a hefty markup in the US over cost in Argentina, but the cake is very generous and as you can guess from my comments, I believe its performance is competitive with similarly priced rosins. Worth trying!
