Combines some Barbara Barber top favorites from her series, Solos for Young Violinists, along with several Suzuki favorites. These volumes include glowing Forewords from Barbara Barber, herself, and Suzuki pioneer, William Starr! This is not technically a Susuki-licensed book since all pieces are in the public domain. However, many violinists/violists like to add this into their BUNDLE because of the superb content!
Titles include: Au Claire de la Lune, Bohemian Folk Song, Welsh Air, Giguetta, La Cinquantaine, Long, Long Ago (Suzuki book 2), Martini Gavotte, Air Varie, Bohm Perpetual Motion, Czardas, The Boy Paganini, Seitz Concerto in G Minor, Rieding Concerto in G Major, Sarabande in G Minor and Introduction and Polonaise. Contains the same titles as Timeless Melodies I for Two Violins. Intermediate duet repertoire for these two instruments is limited, so I believe this will be a welcomed addition for Violinists and Violists!
You will receive a duet score which shows both parts and also a 2nd violin booklet for performances (helps with page turns for longer selections). Taking your recital preparation up to the next level...! [Can be played with or without piano accompaniment.]
