This is my favorite E string. I had several sound issues, and they disappeared when I started using Westminster. It also provides just the right amount of brilliance and warmth in my opinion.

I had the same experience - it snapped while putting it on - medium weight.

String snapped before I even had it at full tension while putting it on. It's a $3 string after all. Won't buy again.

I think this e string quite good. I got it in thick gauge and the sound was quite strong. However, I noticed that it tends to squeak quite a bit as in pivoting the bow to the e string during a scale, and it squeaks on an open e.

It is a pretty good string, if you want powerful sound it is the best option. I highly recommend it
