This is a great product for the price. I almost had to return it because of the strong odor when I opened it up. I think it was caused by the glue used in production. I banished the case to the basement and stuffed it with a half-dozen Bounce dryer sheets. It took three days, but the odor dissipated enough for me to start using the case. It was worth the extra effort. I love it!

This is a great case for the price. The one thing that would make it 5 stars is some D rings to attach a shoulder strap. It has back pack straps, which are decent, but it would be nice to have the option.

I just received this case in the mail for my 15 inch viola. It feels strong and well made. It also looks beautiful! I was expecting a cheap looking case. The back doesn't bend in like some of the cheaper wood cases I've seen. Thanks! It also came with a couple of extra feet and an extra bow spinner.

I'm a student in high school, and so I'm always dragging my viola from school to home. This case definitely does the job! I've gone through other cases with broken handles, straps, and various parts, but this one is as sturdy as it gets. It's of great quality and looks even better in person (plus, it's less than $100!) Overall, recommended.

Pretty much you can't go wrong with this case. I schlep this thing around on my back on crowded buses and trains and it's even been rain-soaked on several occasion and my viola is always safe and dry. Plenty of space for all my gadgets, sheet music, notebooks and so forth; sturdy feet, latches, zippers, handles and straps, but not so heavy that it's uncomfortable to carry. I don't know if I'd trust this case to be run over by a car or as checked luggage on a plane, but for under $100? Total winner.

I wonder if in a case of 16 inches can fit a 16.5 viola

I love this case! Its definitely worth the money and i would've paid more. There's no point in spending 100+ dollars on a case when this is just as good. It's very lightweight and easy to carry around. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap but good quality case.

Before purchasing I asked in the "customer questions" section if the case would hold a Kun Original shoulder rest. Shar's response was that the area by the neck/scroll was made to hold this shoulder rest. After purchasing both, the shoulder rest is too long for this space and therefore does NOT fit in the case as I was told. Please be aware of this before buying. Unless you don't mind carrying you shoulder rest separately, I would suggest buying a different case. Other than that, the case seems pretty decent for an inexpensive case.
