We did income trial Of Karl joesph Schneider, John Cheng, lamberti, snow 400 and snow 900 Lamberti was their choice- full sound easy to play But the snow 400 had warmer brighter sound and opened up even in the week we had it And the snow 900 was even moreso We chose the snow 900 for me the adult student amd parent:) And snow 400 for teen daughter who loves playing Also got Marco reposso wood bow- loving the combination. Easy to handle, doesnít bounce, and can articulate tricky music with ease

This violin is smooth to play with a lovely, even tone across all the strings that projects very well and fills the room with sound. The sound under the ear is loud but not harsh. Looks wise this violin is gorgeous with a nice varnish but more importantly itís an absolute joy to play! I tried violins twice the price and this one came out the winner for me!
