I just tried this violin as part of an in home trial and was a bit disappointed with it. I almost sounded identical to a violin that I own which wasn't really what I needed. I will credit the fact that this violin does play very free and easily. So overall not really my type of sound but everyone is different so your results may vary.

I was looking for an advanced violin, to replace an Eastman La Scala that I bought in 2019. I purchased the Snow Simona, which was more than I wanted to spend, but with a 4 instrument trial from Shar, the Snow won! The workmanship is excellent. The sound on the lower strings is very deep and the E String has a beautiful tone. I am very happy with this violin and would highly recommend it for the Advancing student.

I bought a Snow Simona from Shar 6 months ago and I am very happy with the sound and playability. A great violin for the price. I am 70+ and have been playing for just over 2 years and the Snow Simona was the perfect upgrade for an Advancing student. We purchased this violin for my daughter last year. It has a beautiful responsiveness and a bright and clear tone. It feels "easy" to play, and yet, it has nice warmth and depth as well. The higher notes really sing on this violin. Highly recommend!

I love this violin so much. I highly suggest it to everyone. The sound is beautiful, the look is beautiful, and it is worth more than it's price! I tried this with a more expensive violin, the John Cheng Reserve Solo Artist Violin at $3,750, and this violin was definitely my favorite. Thank you so so much.
