About This Item

Csar Franck (1822-1890) was a Belgian-French composer, organist and music teacher. Among his compositions, Sonata in A Major for Violin and Piano is the most popular one. This violin sonata is a very mature work in terms of musical form. One of his most noticeable musical styles is cyclic form", which means the main theme appears in different movements and thus integrates the entire musical piece.

Contains a violin part and a piano part. Edited by Francescatti and Casadesus. Published by International.
