This concerto has always been one of my favorites. I have always loved hearing it, playing it, teaching it, and even humming the tunes. It is definitely more challenging than the concerto #1 by Bach in a minor, but it is a GREAT piece to learn. the tunes will stay in your mind forever. While my teacher did change the bowings and fingerings slightly for this piece when I learned it, this edition is the best I"ve seen and a pretty good one. I always like Galamian's editing to most pieces. So if you don't know this piece yet, now is the time to get it and learn it. Have fun!
