My daughter is currently learning this piece in preparation for the Bach Sonatas and Partitas. It's perfect for providing a challenge and acquiring the skills needed for Bach, and also, it is enjoyable to play. We highly recommend it!

This is a fantastic teaching piece for students. It is a great introduction to Bach and helps students develop new technique while still being accesible. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent teaching tool for young violinists who aren't quite ready to work on solo Bach. The six movements are very accessible for the maturing student, they are a good introduction to the dance movements of a suite, and, of course, they require the student to listen carefully to the musical line and intonation. This work fills a much needed void in the solo violin literature.
