About This Item

Fiddlers Philharmonic Encore is a pedagogically sequenced collection of well known folk, Celtic, and fiddle melodies, great for string orchestra. Each song includes a solo line and a 3 group parts. The group parts can be divided between orchestra sections, with the solo line ether being passed around or carried by a single soloist. Ample opportunity to improvise is also provided, with some instruction given for this. An Accompaniment CD can be purchased separately, which can be especially valuable for practicing improvisation.

Violin Part. Published by Alfred Music.

Difficulty: Apprentice Rating 2-3
