About This Item

Are you looking for a violin method designed for adults?  Perhaps you used to play violin when you were young.  Perhaps that was a long time ago - longer than you'd like to admit?  I Used to Play Violin by Doris Gazda and Larry Clark is designed for you!  Because it is specifically geared towards adults, there aren't any of the childish pictures or watered-down language you might encounter in other methods - just the essential things to help you get your basic skills back in shape.

The book includes review of basic music theory concepts, daily studies to help you rebuild your strength and stamina, technique exercises, and a wide variety of pieces to play, from Classical to Jazz.  It contains a data CD with recordings of the pieces, plus PDF files of the piano accompaniments, so you can easily print them out.

For a list of the performance pieces, please see "Item Includes".  Published by Carl Fischer.
