This series provide a really fun approach to note reading with clear, easy to read music, fun illustrations and a great accompaniment CD. The accompaniments on the CD are of acoustic instruments, so you get to play in a string quartet or a rock band and it sounds like the real thing! Joggers groups the learning of notes into units starting with learning all of the open strings, then all the first fingers, all the second fingers, etc. This approach seems to provide the most success for students with dyslexia or similar difficulties. Although the books are quite systematic and predictable, you probably want to use it to teach note reading after the student already is fairly familiar with the basics of playing Ive tried using it as a primary text for older beginners and found it moved a little too fast. However, teamed up with Essential Elements, my students have learned remarkable thoroughly and are loving every minute.

Hi Alma, thank you for your question! We currently do not carry the piano accompaniment book for Fiddle Time Joggers.
