This fun and educational ensemble piece features each member of the bowed string instrument family. It involves a story, which unfolds as the narrator introduces the characters; the Elephant, many monkeys, a hippopotamus, a snake and two songbirds, all portrayed by the instruments of the ensemble. The Elephant has a secret, which he cannot keep to himself. The fun begins when he tells his secret to his best friend, Mr. Monkey, who promises not to tell it to ANYONE. But then, Mr. Monkey goes home to his very nosey wife. Behind the Elephant’s back, the whole forest is making promises not to tell his secret to anyone!
