Primo Encores is a collection of fun ensemble repertoire for beginning players, particularly those using the All For Strings Method. This set will work well with any method, but it has been arranged to correspond perfectly with students progressing through the All For Strings. It features Kjos Music's well known Multiple Option Scoring System, meaning that each part has multiple lines to choose from, including a melody line and several harmony lines. This system allows the collection to be used with any ensemble, from a violin duet to a string trio to a string orchestra. With the piano accompaniment part, the collection can even be used solo! Repertoire includes well known folk and classical melodies from around the world. Songs featured in this collection are longer than those found in All for Strings, and more suitable for performance.
