Does Not Record or Respond as a Tuner
After installing the batteries that were supplied with this tuner/recorder, it powered on and the screen illuminated. It responded to the mode button for changing from "guitar" to "bass" to "chromatic" to "record" on the display. However, the tuner does not respond to any notes played on the violin using the recommended "chromatic" setting and it will not record either voice or instrumental input when following the directions for the record/play mode. Multiple attempts at tuning were made and different volume settings were tried for recording and playback without success. The particular unit I received appears to be defective.
