The color wasn't as lovely as it appeared to be in the pictures (I have it in steel blue, and the actual case is darker than the picture suggests), but the case is still quite beautiful. I received many compliments on it, and it's incredible to look at. The case itself is not worth the money at all. I play for four orchestras and a quartet, so naturally the music pocket would be stuffed; however I did not expect the canvas to tear like rice paper because I had one book too many in there. The piece of ribbon that holds the top of the case upright when open came unglued from one side, and the larger accessory compartment's lining came unglued along with it. The compartment's top also popped off altogether, and nothing I do with the four little screws I managed to salvage can put it back on. It is also a lot heavier than the description states. My previous case was one that came with a violin and bow. A starter kit case. It did better than this one. I would recommend this only to people who put aesthetic above everything else (and if you're worried about aesthetic instead of having a proper case, please never touch an instrument again).
