I grew up with an ancient wind-up metronome, which I still have. So, I tested it against the Intelli Digital Metronome. The ancient metronome, like myself, is still going strong, but the Intelli is so much better and has so much more to offer. I have given it a good work-out and it passes with flying colours. Three Cheers for the Intelli Digital Metronome and Tuner with Thermo Hygrometer.

I have used this model for many years and repurchased after breaking (dropping many times) my first one. It has a wide adjustable volume range. Hygrometer/thermometer function is handy and relatively accurate.

I absolutely love this metronome. For one thing, it's the loudest metronome I've ever found, short of a Dr. Beat. It has all the functions you might want for regular practice--beat subdivisions, a pitch generator, a tuner, even a thermometer/hygrometer. For the price, you can't do better. My ONLY complaint is that it's incredibly fragile! I've been using these for about eight years, probably, and I've gone through four of them. The battery compartment breaks at the slightest provocation, since it relies on one thin, bendy piece of plastic to keep the compartment intact. That's fine; easily fixed with some tape. Makes replacing the battery annoying, but oh well. The screen is the real problem; it's unfortunately VERY delicate. Some of the ones I've owned have broken when dropped, but my most recent metronome's screen just went blank one day. I don't know if some moisture got in there or what, but the numbers have kind of just... faded away. It still makes all the sounds, but it's not all that useful if I can't see what I'm doing. Overall, though, this is still my favorite metronome of all time, and I'm still going to buy another. I just haven't found another metronome in this price range that can compete on functionality and sheer volume.

I love this metronome/tuner! It is simple to use and easy to store! It's also fairly hard to break, I have dropped it off of stands multiple times and it still works just fine! I love the pitch generator that it has, it is helpful for practice and tuning. I would recommend this tuner/metronome to anyone and everyone! it's wonderful!

I have had this metronome/tuner almost 5 years now and I still love it! It has every function you will ever need and offers a great range of volume, which is often a problem with metronomes/ tuners. The physical design is a bit flawed the bottom is curved making it difficult to balance upright on a stand and the speaker is on the back, reducing the volume and muting substantially when on a stand. Also, when the device is running out of battery, it tends to go haywire turning on and off but if the battery is replaced, the problem disappears. However, this metronome, even with these issues, cant be beat in its functionality and its price. Highly recommended!

Its fantastic! However, the speaker is on the backside of the metronome so when you place it on a music stand the volume is cut by about 50%.

This metronome/tuner has a wide range of speeds and rhythms. It can be adjusted from soft to very loud, making it possible to rehearse with ensembles, i.e. string quartet while metronome is on. The sound generator offers the whole range of the piano. This is a great metronome for student and pro alike and won't break the bank.

This tuner fits what you have mentioned better than any other in its price range. While slightly larger than other models, it is worth it due the ease of use (fast scrolling tempo and pitch) and loud, adjustable volume. The rhythm settings allow for half beats, quarter beats, triplets, and more.
