The supporting shelf on this stand is narrow, so you have to use the wire clips to hold music in place when making notes on music. Larger when folded than my nice old Wittner stand, which would fit in my music case, but whose fasteners stripped out after 20 years. Can't recommend.

But the only thing I didn't like was the bag it came with..I just got this yesterday it is for my daughter and she put the stand in the bag and the bag where it is sewn ripped so I sewed it up and the velcro on the top part of the bag that closes the bag the thread is coming out of that..other then that it is a really good stand and easy for my daughter to set up and put away.

I was a bit nervous about ordering an $11 music stand - but I was pleasantly surprised. This stand is weighted enough to not fall over. It adjusts height(s) well too. And fits back into a convenient pouch. It will last a while! Excellent buy!

This is the 3rd portable stand I have owned, and it is the best. It is all one piece. You push down the legs and tighten the knob. Raise the top half and tighten a knob. Flip the music holder part up and tighten the 3rd knob, and you are done. Takes all of 20 seconds. The bag thicker than the other bags I have had. Definitely a great purchase for $10.99!

The stand is great, all in one piece so it is easy to assemble. It would be helpful to include some sort of instruction sheet just for the sake of it, although it is not totally needed as it is a VERY simple set up. Only problem I could complain about would be that some of the screws seem loose. This causes the stand to wiggle ever so slightly. This isn't really a problem that you could argue not to get this stand as it is a great buy for the price!

Very good product for the price. I use it everyday and it is just perfect for what I need.
