Leatherwood Viola Rosin Supple Recipe

Rosin can be a fun experiment and relatively cheap to experiment with. I use Andea Bang Symphony, Leibenzeller and P. Guillaume. I wanted to try the Leatherwood supple blend. My initial impression was how cool the leather wrap is. Not that it matters but it's just cool and 2nd that the cake is long not round. I'll use more of it easier, good idea. This stuff applies super fast. Not much is needed or often. Nice! Playing was nice with bite and little surface noise and a warm powerful sound in my viola. It's not a night or day deal with rosin but it compliments my viola and bow. Once I figured out how much, or how little to use, there is very little dust. Highly recommended even if it is spendy for rosin, it's worth it! Kudos to Shar for delivering this in a timely manner. I ordered late on Labor day weekend. Thanks! Viola is a 16" Sean Peak using Evah Pirazzi Gold strings with a EP Gold tungsten C and a Morgan Andersen bow.
I really love using leatherwood rosin - itís simply the best!
I have tried both violin and viola subtle blend of leatherwood rosin- both blends are simply amazing! Thank you so much for making such an exceptional product and helping so many string players to find the best sound possible! There is simply nothing of this quality and level of performance available in other products! I highly recommend it to everyone! Will buy again and again! Thank you so much!
