Kun Junior Violin Shoulder Rest (fits 1/2 - 3/4 size)
The Kun Junior fits 3/4 and 1/2 sizes and is one of our most popular shoulder rests. Height adjustable similar to same model for 4/4 violin with four width adjustments on both ends. The Kun Junior and Kun Junior Collapsible #1313C differ from the Kun Super Jr. #1313JS in that they have four holes on each end for width adjustment. See Kun Super Jr. for description. The World’s Most Famous Shoulder Rest, and Deservedly So
Violin and bow maker Joseph Kun pioneered the shoulder rest design that has become ubiquitous with violinists and violists worldwide, and a favorite with generations of artists. Starting with ergonomic design, Joseph Kun solved the age-old dilemma of discomfort for thousands of players. The original three-point adjustment was an innovation that has stood the test of time, remaining popular to this day. Always mindful of tone, Joseph Kun made sure that the new shoulder rest would be attached with minimal contact with the instrument. To meet these ambitious demands, high quality manufacturing was essential, and remains a hallmark of the Kun brand. Today, often in direct collaboration with artists, Kun continues to innovate with new designs and aesthetics, serving violinists and violists at all levels. Kun products are manufactured in Canada.

New feet are a disaster!
The new hard rubber feet on this shoulder rest cause it to constantly slip off the violin causing placement problems for my young students. My young students are increasingly frustrated, and I am shifting to another brand. I have over 35 years of teaching experience.
New feet are a disaster
The harder rubber used on the feet of this shoulder rest cause it to constantly slip off the violin causing placement problems on my students' shoulders. My young students are very frustrated, and I am switching them all to another brand. I have over 35 years of teaching experience.
the rubber that grips to the violin broken pretty early on.
Great shoulder rest!
Kun shoulder rests have been around for more than 30 years, and through my teaching career, my best students have used them with great success. Attached is an 8 year old student at his very first lesson August 2016 on a half size violin. The Kun company is also a loyal supporter of the fine arts!
The rubber part broke within a month
shoulder rest rubeer
Agree with the previous reviewer. The shoulder rest didn't even last for a few months. The rubber part is torn apart. I had to replace it the second time.
