Bach, Johann Christian - Concerto in c minor - Cello and Piano - edited by Henri Casadesus and Maurice Maréchal - Editions Salabert
The 11th son of J.S. Bach, Johann Christian's music is something of a departure from his father's. More melodic, J.C.'s music tended to be less complex and contrapuntal. This concerto was actually composed by Henri Casadesus for viola, in the style of J.C. Bach.
Newly engraved in 2015 with an historical introduction in English, French, and Italian by Serena Agostini.
Edited by Henri Casadesus. Edition Salabert.
