A 7/8 size violin, ideally suited for an adult violinist seeking a slightly smaller instrument for physical or ergonomic reasons, but not willing to compromise on tonal output, this well-crafted violin may be the perfect artistic partner. Powerful, soaring and brilliant tone, very clean pure, which will be appreciated by a solo performer. Precise and clean workmanship with fine wood selection. The back is of two pieces of quarter sawn maple, with medium width flaming descending from the center joint. The top is of fine grained straight spruce. Orange-brown varnish applied over an amber ground, with subtle shading.
