The Franz Hoffmann™ Maestro Violin: The Finest In Student Instruments.
With its excellent European construction and materials, the Franz Hoffmann™ Maestro violin — the finest instrument in the Hoffmann line — maximizes each student’s potential for growth and a long, fulfilling musical life.
When a student starts out on a violin of lesser quality, it's easy for them to get discouraged early, to blame themselves for problems caused by the instrument itself.
Each Maestro Violin is built to exacting construction metrics and is outfitted with premium Overture Ultra synthetic core strings. This affords the Maestro unparalleled playability and tonal quality. Beyond being excellent for serious beginners, this also serves to make it ideal for intermediate-to-advanced players looking for an excellent backup instrument that doesn’t break the bank.
Each Maestro violin is set up at our facility in Beijing, undergoing an extensive quality control process. They are then carefully shop-adjusted upon arrival at SHAR’s facilities in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This level of attention to detail and quality is rarely seen from any other violin shop online, but we at SHAR strive to bring our decades of experience to bear to ensure that each Maestro violin is a quality instrument that will help you move to your next stages of playing.
Each Maestro violin is built from high-quality materials, featuring ebony pegs and fingerboard, a hand carved bridge, a hand-applied spirit varnish, and a composite tailpiece with four fine tuners. All instruments are outfitted with a Guarneri chinrest for comfortable playing.
This SHAR-exclusive outfit is also packed with cool violin accessories, which afford students everything they need to get started on their path to musical excellence.
