Hill Rosin
Out of all the rosins I have ever tried, this has been my favorite. Because it gives the violin such a nice sound, and also it does not break apart on you like some of the others do.
best rosin
I find this to be my favorite item and don't just give it 5 stars for no reason. I like this rosin because it makes a nice load sound that is not too rough but has some grit when you need it. I have used many rosins and like the fact that you still feel some pull when you bow so you can control dynamics and it's quite inexpensive too. I know many who have tried more expensive rosin but still always come to the hill as their favorite
Great Rosin
I've been playing less than a year now. After reading a few articles on line, I finally decided to purchase Hill to replace the no name piece that came with my beginner violin outfit. What a difference! My bow seems to glide much more smoothly over the strings while simultaneously providing a richer and louder tone. Well worth the $10!
Great fit for my violin!
I switched to this rosin about 2 years ago, and it works really well with my violin! I use Obligato strings and a Westminster E, and this rosin isn't too dusty or sticky. Definitely my go to now.
My go to rosin
It's not sticky, and gives a beautiful tone to my violin
Best Ever
I love this rosin. It is the best i have ever come across. Makes a beautiful sound. I strongly recomend to anyone serious about non-fretted stringed instruments.
Wonderful Rosin
I wanted to review this rosin to help out those that want to get a new rosin, but are not sure. I use Evah Pirastro and Eudoxa strings on my Viola. I got this rosin with them. I tried it right away after my strings were done stretching, and WOW!!! This rosin is awesome! It is not to sticky, just the right amount of grab on the strings. It does not build up too much and most importantly, it produces the most pleasant tone when you bow across the strings. I have tried a lot of rosins, but this one is the best one so far. I definitely would recommend this rosin to those that want to improve their sound without breaking the bank. :)
