Solid but BIG

This is a solid case and will allow developing students to feel like a pro. The case is ADJUSTABLE, the cradle for the upper bout is held in place by Velcro. Simply pull it all the way out and resize for your viola. The exterior is large that and does not fit vertically or flat in a Wenger instrument locker- the handle contacts either the top (vertically) of side (flat). Fits snuggly at an angle, but there will be no sharing your cubby with this case!

Solid Case

This case was one of the cases available to come with my viola when I purchased it, so I decided it would do. I've had this case for four years or so now, and has held up reasonably well for as much as I carry it around; I've carried it back and forth to school every day for all four years. I'm looking to get a new case now, as it is pretty beat up now. The first to go at the metal feet on it, they all fell off pretty quickly, and the outer pocket has started to tear off along the zippers (but I probably keep more in that pocket than I should). The shoulder stap did break after only a few uses, but another strap would still attach just fine. Overall, I think this case help up tremendously for the amount of beating it has taken.

Way too big

I had high hopes for this case. It looks good and solid, however, it is way too big. It's advertised to fit violas 15-16.5 inches. I have a 15.5 inch viola and there is no way that this case would even come close to fitting my instrument. It's both way too long and way too wide. I have to send it back. I can imagine it maybe fitting a 17 inch viola, but I wouldn't buy it for smaller instrument.

Orchestra teacher

Velcro does not hold instrument, I have opened my case and found my viola rattling around without restraint. Bow is not secure, rattles around inside case
